here's a question for my fellow wgp girls? Does fox hollow provide music during the cocktail hour?

I called about this and they said if you choose not to have a DJ or musician, they have a PA system that can play music, but its quiet. I am in the Petite Garden, or whatever its called.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Hello everyone.
I am a new Fox Hollow Bride! I am so in love with the place and my room! I have a quick question though.

If you are booked for Winter Garden Pavillion for the reception do you get to use all the outdoor gardens for photographs?

Both days I visited the location, it was too dark or raining and I didn't get to see the garden set up. I heard somewhere that you are restricted to the front.

Thanks in advance.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I'm also booked in the same room and asked the same question and was told that I should count on only being able to take pictures in the small gardens which are the ones on the side of the building where the main entrance is and not the large gardens as the Larger room looks out into those gardens and the party that is going to be in there isn't going to want to see you taking pictures.
(That's not how they put it, that's my translation. lol)

So basically you should only count on taking pictures in the gardens on the side of the building where your room is. i.e. for the WGP room you would be taking pictures on the side where the gazebo is. HTH!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Thank you for your reply! I was afraid of that, but since I didn't see the other side of the building I really don't know what I am missing anyway. hee hee.

I wonder though....I am doing my ceremony there so I will be there a couple of hours earlier. I wonder if I can use the other gardens before the other party gets there.

Any ideas? I guess I should just call the hall and find out.

I'll be getting married in the afternoon and I was told to arrive early for pictures. Do you think I'd have access to all the gardens?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I'm going to meet with a planner from PWP. I'm going to ask about the gardens and if we get access to them. It would be just awful if you can't take pictures!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I'm looking at the major vendors (DJ/Florist) now and was wondering if any of you used-

Richard (the house florist)?

or Top Hat Entertainment(DJ)?

ETA: or Nick Montianino (the officiant)?

all are recommended by Fox Hollow...

What did you think of their work?

I haven't checked out any of those, but I thought Body Rock was their recommended DJ...

Do they have more than one?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I haven't met with anyone but the house florist is the one who does the arrangements for the ceremony locations and throughout the building and also the arrangements in the Inn at Fox Hollow. I haven't met with personally but I've heard from friends that he does an amazing job! Definately worth checking out!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

My BM was Charlie at the Fox Hollow. I just called with a quick question and learned that he no longer works there. Does anyone else think its weird that they didnt contact the couples who he was working with to let them know this? Or am I being anal?

**Update - nevermind, I was told that all you really do with them is book the event, so its not that important. All the other details are done through other people.
