Going for my Final Arrangements at Westbury Manor today!

We pick the menu and linens and get seating charts. I'm very excited. Is there anything else we do?

Good luck! Don't forget to see the room where you are getting married - I had my reception in the Manor Room and since I only had 17 tables in the end, I wanted them spaced evenly around the dance floor with no big gaps in the back. It's hard to tell the actual way the tables will be set up from the chart.

When you meet with them, they will hand you work sheets for the tables - # of people per table, # of favors per table. Also, they will have you give them an alphabetical list of all your guests to ensure the event if your guests don't pick up your place cards, the maitre de can tell then where they are sitting without having to bother you.

Have fun...you may also have to pick out your cake, if your hall provides one for you.

I went to do my final arrangements at the Milleridge a few weeks ago and didn't even think about the cake...and as of now, still haven't even picked one out.

Bring a list of all your vendors too, they'll need that info.
