Bachelor Party/Mom question

Tonight is my FH's bachelor party. Although I was not thrilled about this at first, we talked about it and I'm fine with it now. Unfortunately, my mom told his brother that she did not approve of bachelor parties and my sister doesn't either. I am upset w/ her because I specifically asked her not to say anything about it. I felt that this was something for me and my FH to talk about, not her. Am I being unreasonable to be a bit upset with her?

Re: Mom question

Mothers are Mothers. You don't always have to agree with what they do- but she is entitled to say what she believes.
I'm sure that your mother's opinion isn't going to change anything that FH or his brother do tonight. Like a 'Mother' she probably feels thst she is looking out for her daughter's best interest.
Good Luck!

Re: Mom question

I guess you're right. I know my FH isn't going to do anything bad and I have complete trust in him. I just felt my mom was giving her opinion when it was unnecessary.

Re: Bachelor Party/Mom question

I would probably feel the same way toward my mother in that situation. It seems like in this whole 'wedding planning' process everyone has got an opinion on everything that takes place during this time.
Don't worry FH will be home before you know it.
Jeez, my FH goes on his the day after Christmas.

Re: Bachelor Party/Mom question

NO, it wasn't her place to open her mouth.

Re: Bachelor Party/Mom question

Thanks. I was just hoping I wasn't turning into a Bridezilla 1 week before the big day!
