Hi all! Any tea-length bridesmaid dress ideas out there?
Hi girls! I can't tell you how helpful you've all been. I was wondering if any of you used, are going to use, or have seen tea-length (strapless preferrably) bridesmaid dresses for the summer? I am pretty decided on tea-length for the girls and have found a style, but need some more ideas.. and nice colors! ANy pics or ideas would be reaaallly appreciated. I'm also trying to keep the price around $150. Thanks! This is the dress we like so far.. but it doesn't come in many colors that we like.. only a rose that we agreed on. I want something that's summery and will look nice for pictures.

try this link: http://www.theknot.com/gownsearch/bs_results_local.aspx?path1=bridesmaids&path2=Search&NotGownType=1&Status=A&BMaidGownType=2&GownType=2&DesignerID=&StyleNumber=&PriceRange=1&Size=&Colors=&Silhouette=&GownLength=3&Neckline=&SleeveStyle=&SleeveLength=&newsearch=Submit+SearchSorry about screwing up the post here, but I wanted to add that I only search for dresses under 150. At least I think 150, it could have been cheaper. Let me check....

I am using a tea-length dress for my girls. It's a Bill Levkoff and it's strapless. It was about $230. I am getting black but it comes in a bunch of colors. It looks great on all body types
Good Luck!Ooops! It looks just like the one you posted. Sorry

Try Jim Hjelm...they made a plaid tea length dress a few seasons back which I was IN LOVE with but my sisters hated.

hi, i am using this one from siri inc. it looks absolutely horrible in the pic, it is on a manaquin and has a bow. i am getting a wine color, but there are lots to pick. the colors are on www.sirrinc.com. it is $175 w/o alterations from here comes the bridesmaid in great neck. also, check out vu couture (www.vucouture.com) a little more expensive, but nice stuff

My bridesmaids are wearing tea length dresses. They are by Watters and Watters, style # 1642. Sorry I don't have a pic, but if you got to their website, watters.com you will see it.

Re: Hi all! Any tea-length bridesmaid dress ideas out there?
I wanted to do tea length...my MOH loved it too....but the other BM wanted full length. David's had new stuff on display...and I saw one that was tea length...very pretty....also, they had told me that any dress could have been made into a tealength. Some nice ones are at www.threaddesign.com but I'm not sure of the pricing.

Re: Hi all! Any tea-length bridesmaid dress ideas out there?
Those are preyty.I have a weird tea -length question though.
if your girls are diffent heights, so you have them all have their dresses hemmed to the same # of inches down from the waist, or up from the floor? Up from the floor would look more even, but do people do that with tea length? If they are really different in height it could be near ankel lenght for one, but knee high for another, but when they stnad together, the hems would be even. Does that make any sense?

Re: Hi all! Any tea-length bridesmaid dress ideas out there?
I think I've chosen Eden Bridals for my tea-length dresses. I wanted my BMs to have options on sleeves and fit of tops so they could get something they feel comfortable in and might wear again, so I chose separates from this site. They will all probably wear the same chiffon ruffle skirt in light pink, but they can have their pick from the coordinating chiffon tops in the style they choose. :o)
