Finally got my digital album proofs- with a link.

some of them are great- some of them totally have to be redesigned. But it's great to finally see them and finish this process! I got them as JPEG for quicktime files on a CDRom- I'm not sure I can post them... but I'll try.

Edited to add my thoughts:

Home 1: I like the lay out- but 2 things. We aren't very religious people- so the whole 'may God be with you always' is sort of weird. Can it say 'may love be with you always' instead? or happiness be with you? Secondly- that bottom picture of me & the bridesmaids- I feel like they are in a lot of layouts & really have nothing to do with this one. I really like that picture of me coming down the stairs with everyone looking @ me, can we use that one instead? Or something more family oriented?

Home 2: I like it- but I think I am having a problem with the shoes underneath? It looks like they are coming out of my abdomen.

Home 3: This is my least favorite layout. That picture of me in the mirror is NOT my favorite at all. Plus in this lay out there are some of the same pictures that are in the other lay outs- as if they only scanned a certain # and kept recycling them... the pictures don't go together. I am not even sure we need this layout. I really wanted a layout of us dancing and all our friends too... I'm not sure if this exists somewhere?

Cele- I really like this one.

Cele2- I really like this one too.

Cele 4- I like this one too- but it seems sort of bland- a lot of white space... do you think this would look better in color? I'd like to see it in color.

Cele 5- I like the idea of this- but I think the photo underneath with us lighting the candles looks weird- it took me five minutes to figure out what the big blob even was... plus, I'm not sure if I like the way my bridal party looks in this.

Puzzle- I like it, but the fifth picture on the second row looks like we are smooshed...

Rings- I like.

Walking- I like.

Blessing- I like this- except I don't like the Blessing of the Apaches- really has nothing to do with us. We had a reading from Give All To Love by Ralph Waldo Emerson- I think that would be more fitting- but overall I like this layout.

If they are jpgs (not sure what jpg for quicktime is) you should be able to resize them using any photo editor like microsoft photoeditor or Picture it.

They are JPEGS but they weren't saved in photoshop- they were saved in, and open in Quicktime...

It doesnt matter how a jpg was saved...if it has a .jpg file extension, you will be able to open it in any photo editor program. Your pc is probably opening them up in quicktime b/c its set that way but if you go to another program that will allow you to edit, you can do a file, open from there.


Or if you dont want to resize at all, you can just upload them directly to shutterfly.com and then post the link to the photos.

ETA: I think 'may love be with you always' is good too if you aren't religious and I have to agree maybe the BMs shouldn't be here. A pic of your family looking at you coming down the stairs might look better.

Really??? You are crazy!

Im not a professional so I cant give you any professional reasons but here is what I think;

a) You look both adorable and beautiful in the same photo but have a sort of michievious look too

b) the format of the photos is a little different than the typical stare into the lens photo so it adds a nice variety to the album that is mostly traditional


But its your album so you are the only one that needs to like it.

When I was 16 I had a bought of VERY horrible chicken pocks. I have so many scars on my face because of it- and I really don't like the texture of my skin- which really sort of shows in that photo...

but I do have the trouble maker face in that one!!!

maybe if they kept that main photo- but changed the other photos I would like it better.

Your photographer can fix your skin to be absolutely flawless if that is your concern.

I like the picture with the mirror...but I am not crazy about the lay out...the pictures are too small maybe? or cut into the soft picture?


I also share your thoughts about your BP being in a few too many pics..


Were you able to talk with the photog before he did this? I don't understand why he would put in pictures or quotes that you didn't agree on?


as for opening the file...right click it...'open with' - 'photoshop'
