anyone NOT getting their makeup done professionally for the wedding?

if so, what type of makeup are you going to wear to make sure it lasts all day and looks good in pictures?

I don't think I am.... I use MAC products when I do wear make-up.

So a few weeks before I am gonna do a makeover to match the wedding colors. And buy the colors they use.

you can also go to the makeup counter and get your makeup done free if you buy a certain amount of products

MAC is a brand of cosmetics. I am not doing my own make-up but the woman who is doing it is using MAC. She swears it is the best and longest lasting.

I did my own makeup and used Revlon's Colorstay foundation.

You can go to the Bobbi Brown cosmetic center in the mall and get a free make up trial and buy the cosmetics. Bobbi brown make up is great.....That was/is my second choice if the makeup artist/hair person thing I set up doesnt work out!

I did my own makeup for my wedding last year. I bought mostly mac products but stuck with my every day eyeliner and mascara..just applied it heavier.

I was nervous at first that I wouldnt look 'special' enough but it turned out fine. I decided to do this because when i went to the mac counter and had the guy apply color, he used a lot of pinks and I hate the way I look in pink!

Its hard for me to get colors that look decent on me since im so fair with reddish hair and blue eyes so i basically just stuck with my everyday wear...good luck..you will look beautiful!

I didn't like the way it felt when I had a trial done by a professional, so I am doing my own. I went to the Clinique counter, had a makeover done and explained to me, and am doing my own. Hopefully, it will be okay, can't do much about it now.
