Add me to the I think I'm pregnant list...

I am an Addicted poster and wasn't on the TTC list.. Sorry to be mysterious but I want to be totally sure about my surprise pregnancy....

I missed AF and I was just curious because the other day I smelled something that almost made me puke. From just keeping up with the boards I thought to myself oh oh. I also have been having cramps so I thought I was going to get AF?

Anyway I took a pregnancy test this evening (I couldn't wait until tomorrow morning) and I got a faint line! When my hubby went into the bathroom he was like 'you're kidding.' I'm going to take it again tomorrow morning. Hubby thinks I am because he said its been on his mind.

This is totally what happened to me. Cigarette's made me want to barf, and I was a smoker at the time. This was when I was only a couple of weeks along, we didn't find out till I was farther along, but I remember being like that's why I couldn't stand that smell.

I also got a faint line in the evening and took one the next morning and that was real dark. Sounds like congratulations are in order!!!!!

Have you tested yet? What day was AF due?

That is what happened to me bacause I tested the first time a day before I was due. By the day after AF was due, it was much darker. A line is line. Congratulations, I think! Looks like we may be due within days of each other!

Hi again.

I tested again this morning and got a faint line. I was in such disbelief I went out and bought another brand and tested again this afternoon. According to (all 3) home pregnancy tests I'm pregnant!

Should I confirm with the doctor first before I say anything?

It sounds to me like congrats are in order!!! If you feel wary about you can wait for the Dr. They will just give you another pee test and take blood. But they will give you a due date

The dr. uses cheaper pee tests that you can buy at the store.
Who are you? What do you think your EDD is?

I tested twice & made a doctors appoitment. And when he came in he just started babbiling about things. And I was like 'Oh so I am definately pregnant' he laughed & said I thought thats why you were here' I wanted to be a 100% sure I was pregnant.

Some ladies love to tell right away. Others wait till the first trimester is over. It's up to you!!
