Review of my weekend at Mohegan Sun!!( kinda long)

Besides the 4 hrs of driving there and the 5hrs back it was great!! ( tons of construction saturday going up and tons of accidents due to snow coming home)

We stayed one mile away at Microtel inns its a very small room that we had but we had stayed there before, Its small but clean and soo convenient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to mohegan sun if you dont want to pay the few hundred that it costs to stay AT the hotel there. ( but i did hear its outrageous)

Anyway we ate at Michaels Jordons and it was sooooo YUMMY , although not to brag the cheesecake was not as good as my FH.

But the steak was cooked to perfection and the service was overall good except my waitress had NO PERSONALITY but the younger guy assistting her did so it was ok.

And best of all we came home with money in our pockets!!!

We ate there too when we went...the food was sooo good!!! yummy!!

I've been there a few times. It's fun but I was not that impressed with the restaurant/shopping area. I think they make it look better on the commericals than in real life. When they show the star ceiling they make it seem like it's a big planetarium and it's not. But it's not bad either - just not what I expected it to be.

I've only eaten at the big buffet there. But we will defintely check out the hotel you stayed at. Thanks for the tip!

I LOVED Michael Jordan's restaurant, best steak I have EVER had and their lobster and mashed potatoes were to die for!

Where is the place you stayed? Can you give me more details? We stayed at Mohegan but it was during the week and it is great but for the weekends there is no way I'd pay $200.
