Right away. As soon as we called everyone to let them know we were engaged, we asked them to be in our wedding

My BMs have always known they would be my BMs. I didn't really ask after we got engaged. I pretty much said, 'You're still gonna be in my BP, right?'

i went out to dinner with my bridesmaids and asked them then...about a month after we were engaged.
my sister is my MOH and she asked me first.....we were at a shower and she was being all curious and asking me about the wedding party and then asked me, 'So, who's going to be your maid of honor?'.....so I had to tell her it was her, and that i was ging to ask her....but she ruined it!

I had issues with this, I asked my MOH right away. But I only recently (like 2 weeks ago) finished asking the other 5! i was afraid some of them would feel slighted but they were all so excited to be a part of it none of htem minded that it took me so long! I always knew who I wanted but didnt know how many large of a party we wanted so it took awhile to decide

I got engaged on November 23d and I asked my girls on December 24th (we were all together on Christmas Eve so it seemed like the perfect time) even though I still had a year and a half until the wedding. Now with the wedding eight months away, FI still has to ask one more Groomsmen!!

we told our maids of honor and best men right away after the engagement but we sent out 'Will you be my brides maids or groomsmen' cards a year later.

When I told them I was engaged. I am having a small wedding party. Everyone already knew I would ask, except my guy friend from college. Once he realized I wasn't asking him to wear a dress, he was very honored.
