Curiosity killed the cat! Is she or isn't she???? UPDATE: she is, she is!

My boss came back from vacation spotting a thick antique looking platinum band on her left ring finger. It looks like a very original wedding band or may be an e-ring with a twist. She is in her late 30s so she might not have wanted to have the 'traditional’ e-ring. Anyway, because it didn’t look like a usual obvious e-ring I didn’t say anything.

Now I walked in her offices and she asked me to wait while she finishes her e-mail. I happened to see what the e-mail was. She was replying got something titled 'dress' and saying that a-line is more her stile and may be of the shoulder. I am going to burst if I don’t find out what’s going on! It would be so exiting if she did get engaged! I would love to wish her all the best, she seems really sweet (I just started working for her less than a month ago)

Anyway, I really didn’t want to be nosey and ask but I would be so happy for her! The curiosity is KILLING ME! What should I do?? Should I say something?

WELL,I WENT TO SAY GOODNIGHT and complimented her ring, and she is like: 'oh, thanks! it was my engagement ring! i was so exited! We talked about weddings a bit and where she wants to do it! He 1st date was in central PArk so she is thinking somewhere around there! ME so Happy for Her!
I can now sleep at night!

Since she's your boss you can't be nosy. She'll tell you when she wants too, or maybe you'll hear it through the grapevine and then can congradulate her. Otherwise, you shouldn't say anything.....

I was thinking the same thing.

What a pretty ring... google over it..
that works for me.

You could always say 'What a beautiful ring, was it a christmas present..' hehe
