I'm getting 2 wisdom teeth taken out Friday.

And I'm nervous! I chickened out on all 4 at once.

I would have opted for all 4 at once just to not have to go through the anxiety again, but you know yourself and your own body.

It's not that bad, I had it done a few months ago. Are you getting put out for it? I did, and it felt like it was done in no time. When I woke up I kept asking, are you sure you took all of them out?
I would get them done all at once though, I wouldn't want to go through it twice, even though it really isn't that bad. Just follow the directions that your dentist gives you. And be prepaired for it to be sore on the second or third day. I think those days were worse than the first by far.

I agree with others, get them out all at once, and stay home for a few days after. Make sure to have a lot of baby food and yoghurt and perhaps some cold soups

I am doing 2 also cause I have to pay 20% and I cant afford to pay for all 4 right now w/ the wedding and stuff . Its expensive. The other 2 arent bad at all so I can wait a while to remove them.

Everybody has a different experience, I got all 4 taken out 3months ago, it was the best thing I could have done, I was in a lot of pain, but not unbearable(my dentist gave me vicodin ) Good luck

I remember these no nos No Spitting, No Straws, No Sodas.

I had all four done at the same time. I was really really nervous about it. I was put out with an IV line so I didnt feel a thing. Took my medications afterwards and bought big ice bags for each side of my face to keep the swelling down.

Overall I'd have to say it wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined, but it wasn't fun. It's not something I'd want to do more than once, but if I had to, it was a lot easier than other medical stuff I've had one. It's just scary I think.

I went in on a Friday afternoon and was back at work by Monday Morning.

I have had all my widsom teeth removed (well actually I have an extra one that's still in there, but still). It's not so bad, especially if you get knocked out. But I wouldn't recommend all of them at once - it takes longer to heal and you can't eat normally because of the swelling and stuff. But seriously, nothing to worry about. It's a great opportunity to have FH wait on you hand and foot.

I did the first two and now have to go back for the second two. Although I didn't think getting the first two done was so bad, I wish I just did them all at once.

youll be fine... i think its better to have 2 and 2... the second time around you wont worry so much... my fh did it that way, panicked on the first 2, then didnt mind the second two...

I had 2 and 2 as well...and it helps b/c you still have some function over your mouth...


its really pretty quick...especially if you get knocked out...


the 2nd time I went - I was a pro...I got them pulled on sat and was at work monday...feeling fine...just couldn't eat much more than applesauce!!


the best advice a nurse gave me is to go get a fribble from friendlys RIGHT after you have it done...it will help you get something in your stomach and it is cooling...it helped so much!!!

I had 2 of mine done under local (I was unable to have IV sedation). Actually, it was really easy. I think getting cavities filled is ten times worse!
Take your meds, eat soft foods, follow your docs nstructions and most importanly, milk it for all it worth with your FI!!

i wouldnt do four! it depend on how bad they are. mine were bad and i did two at a time and was swollen for two weeks. good luck!!
