Anyone sick of planning and just want the wedding day to be here?

I would so much rather focus on other things. FI and I live together. My mind right now is on furniture, redecoratng, etc. We have all the big things done for the wedding, I just don't have an interest in planning the smaller stuff right now. I want my wedding day to be here and be perfect, I just wish I could blink and have all the details finalized.

Anyone else feel like this?

I love the planning, but I do wish the day would get here and I could be a mrs with a house!

I felt like that about 3 or 4 months before the wedding. I kept a mental total in my head of how much it would cost to cancel the wedding and elope...LOL

It goes fast and it's wonderful!! And the day after the wedding you will be so happy and proud of all the work you put into the wedding

i get days like that. generally i am thrilled to plan the wedding...but sometimes i get impatient and lazy and find that i have no motivation.

Christine: I think that is part of it. With how much everything else we will need/want costs I am wishing we did do a Disney intimate wedding w/just immediate family and a party at home. We did consider that but opted for a 'Full Wedding' or at least that is what I call them. I know in the end I'll be glad, just today I'm thinking why did we do this. The problem was we both kept flip flopping and ultimately I decided I wanted the full wedding.

I am just thinking I could have all new furniture and who knows what else for the price of the wedding.

I'll get back into wedding mode, today I'm just in Ethan Allen mode.

SO far I LOVE planning ... and I love being on this board (I'm totally addicted)..

BUT (this is a big but ..) I only got engaged in Dec. 03 and am having a short engagement .. so its all still 'new' for me ...

Ask me in a few months how I feel about wedding planning and I'll probably have a different answer!!

Felicia, Thatch Cottage is a great place, your wedding will be fabulous. I got engaged in Dec. 02, we made it longer so we wouldn't have to crunch w/money to pay for things. I'm ready to be a Mrs.

I wish, I had a wedding planner........ I want to be able to walk down the aisle and smile........waving my hands......

I just created a new post about stressing. My mind is also not into all the little details of this planning.......

YES!!! I keep telling everyone how I don't want to plan anymore and just elope!! I'm not going to, I just feel other people are making this planning more stressful than it is!

I am so sick of the planning...I don't mind planning stuff...but 8 months in the making is a little too long for me.....I can't wait for the next 58 days to fly by so we can live happily ever after and worry about our first home

I was actually thinking this last night! We got engaged the end of July and started planning a few weeks later! We did some big stuff but by October I was so out of the spirit! And I keep saying I have to get back in the mood but I cant!

HOnestly all I want to do is put on my dress and walk down the aisle!!

I feel so much better now. I was feeling weird, I thought I should be so into this and I'm not. I know when my dress comes in I'll be totally into this again.
