Our New House Pic (w. 3 new pics)

Hi all, I can now reveal the reason I have been so MIA lately...our new house!

It was a little crazy getting married, buying a house and moving in four months, but well worth it.

I have some more pics, but Shutterfly is not cooperating, so I will post them tomorrow. Now its on to decorating

I am sure I will be posting lots of pics of empty rooms looking for ideas...I am clueless about decorating, I have been working on one bathroom for two weeks now.

Thank you all so much on the kind words

Our house is in Derby, CT. We had to move out of NYC in order to afford something that we both love, esp. DH who is from upstate and is used to more land than I am (to me, a front yard is a lot different than it is to him

) We got lucky with this one, it is new construction and we got in our bid just as the house was being completed. It is an adjustment living in the 'country' as the area is more rural than Queens, but I do love it already.

I am even getting used to not having streetlights or sidewalks right outside my house!
