My cousins live in Derby

They have a GREAT Italian bakery in town

ITs really not that far. We get there from queens in just over an hour sometimes.

WOW that is an amazing house with an amazing view...I am dying to see the interior pics, especially the bathroom you have been working on for two weeks.

Sadly, not much progress there. My new job is taking up too much of my time

My FIL did come up this past weekend and put up a lot of our hardware, which was great. The downstairs bath has an adobe color tile, so I was thinking of a Southwestern print on the wall, and bold color accents. I have gotten nowhere, and there is one poor white towel hanging in there....so much for bold colors

My dad (and his entire family) is from Milford (close by you) they have been there since the 1600s...and my dad just sold my grandfathers house...it was pretty emotional for everyone...

CT has such a great feel to it...so much different than LI

Yes, Milford is the town right next to me, I love it, its the cutest New England place. Plus it has great stores!

I did post 2 inside pics of my great room, they are floating around here on a post pleading for decorating help

I will post more soon

The prices in CT are much more reasonable, but its a tradeoff. I am still adjusting to being farther away from family & friends...but it could be worse, DH wanted to move to Boston so we would have been really far away. At least we can drive home anytime we want!
