The Bear Cub Sings!!!!

My daughter, the future Britney Spears? NOT over my dead body will she become like that putana!!!

Anywhoha, Gianna started SINGING this weekend!!!! It's the cutest thing!!! She was laying in her crib and the next thing I hear her babbling to her friends on the mobile and in the Ocean Aquarium thing and then she's singing at the top of her lungs in a HIGH PITCH voice!!! Joe wakes up and goes 'what's going on?' and I'm laughing and smiling like a big goofball!!!

She also started whimpering like a little puppy this morning for her bottle!!! She cracks me up!!!!!

And off on another tangent go I ....

My friend bought Gianna the kick and play thing for the crib, so Joe hooked it up and my future River Dancer (I swear, when she's kicking her legs that fast, she looks like that guy from River Dance) starts doing her thing. When she kicks the letter B it says 'B is for Bear' and then it roars (sounding more like a lion to me, but what do I know) and I cracked up and said 'that's your daddy -- the big grouchy bear in the morning' and SHE LAUGHED!!!!

Anna, she's been vocal since birth!! She came out screaming and hasn't stopped!!! And you should hear her 'talk' to her daddy!! For 20 minutes straight she'll babble to him and kick her feet and is real animated and into what she's saying! To me, I get nothing!!!! I'll get a few gurgles or laughs when I'm changing her and that's it!!! Isn't that nice? Who carried her around for 9 months?

John Anthony is GLUED to Johns legs as soon as he walks in the door!

Last nite I ran out for something, and when I came back, by instinct, he goes 'DAH DEE, DAH DEE, DAH DEE' not even realizing that he was WITH his daddy, but just the opening of the door makes him say that!

They have no appreciation those little ones (and boy do the daddies love every minute!!!)

I think that is the cutest thing..if she needs a backup male who likes to just SCREECH at the top of his lungs at a pitch that crawls right up your spinal cord - let me know...I have a pro at that!!

Its so funny, Jenn. John used to always say (and stil does!) 'I cant wait till he's A LITTLE OLDER and he'll understand more' or 'IMAGINE NEXT YEAR, He can play XYZ with me' etc etc.

Its exciting to THINK ABOUT what they will be able to do in the future, but its also SAPPYSAD to think about how fast it all goes !!!!!!!!!!!


Next year, this time, you'll be chasing Nicky around the house, and hopefully he wont steal Arnie's cookies like John Anthony did

Anna -- at least John is saying 'I can't wait' -- Joe thinks the opposite!! I told you he asked me 'what are we going to do with her when she gets bigger'!!!!! I think it finally hit him that she's not a little 'doll' and is growing and will become a little person that he will be chasing after one day not too far away How sad is that? I like this age!!! Oh well, all good things must come to an end!! But then we start another great phase!!!
