Nd Gift Idea for Older Couple

I am attending a wedding next month for some good friends. They are both 55+, 2nd marriage for both...kids are all grown and there is no registry.

Any suggestions re: gifts? I'd like to give something instead of or in addition to cash.

How about tickets for a broadway show? I don't know the URL, but there is a site (broadway.com maybe???) where you can give a gift certificate for tickets and they can choose the show and date convenient for them. Works great if they are on-line.

The Broadway show tickets are a great idea. Some other suggestions are gift certificates for dinner, for a spa, movies etc etc. I am going to be in this situation when I get married.We are both in our 40's and need to have a yard sale to get rid of stuff because between us we have so much. We have gotten some of these as gifts already for other occasions and they are better than something that we already have 2(or more)of.

I am looking for some suggestions for a place to hold my sisters shower. The timeframe is early September. I am open to Nassau and western suffolk. I live in Virginia , so I am planning long distance. Any help would be appreciated.
