What about GUrney's inn?? I LOVE MONTAUK.. you can't get anymore 'beach'then gurneys. We were going to gurney's but.. $$$ Kind of got in the way..
ETA: you can have the ceremony at the Montauk light house and then go to gurney's for the reception..

I'm thinking that we cant afford Gurney's! We went to Atlantica and liked it, but it was too small and they were a lot of money for what you get!

Look into the crow's nest Inn out in Montauk. I would love to do it--it's a weekend package, with a welcome everyone clambake/beach party on Friday night and a tented wedding on the Saturday. Very reasonable. Do a google search. Good luck!!

Yeah, I know I thought the same. My mom was dying for us to do it there, but we chose to get married in the dead of winter instead
Still trying to figure out if it's some kind of scam, but it sounds amazing!!! My friend who wants to get married in Aug. 2005 might do it.

do a search. i think i recall someone having a RD there. $65pp for 3 days is insanely cheap , i would be a bit skeptical. doesn't hurt to check it out though. i think the have an inside restaurant as well. while you're out here, you can check out the food too.

Re: UGHH... FH and I are thinking about changing our Reception Hall... We want
Just FYI - DH and I looked into thr Crows Nest thing. It did sound perfect. And really does start off at $65/person. But, then, if you want the nice tent +$$$, a nice floor +$$$, better or more food +$$$. So, suddenly, for 150-175 people, we were looking at a lot more $$ than it sounded like. Some of the other stuff we didn't like was that there was basically only the bathroom in the restaurant that's on the property - or they mentioned that they could keep one of the Inn rooms open for our guests to use the bathroom. I think this would mean we had to pay for that too (though I don't remember for sure - it was a long tima ago we looked into it.)I wouldn't say don't check it out, but we just though it ended up being too good to be true.
