Ladies wearing non-white (ivory, diamond white, etc)....What color ar your FG dresses?

I have been thinking about this since the post about FHs wearing white shirts when the bride's dress is ivory.

Is anyone else having their FG wear white dresses while their dress is non-white?

WHen I thouhgt my dress was ivory( but it turns out is is actually white) I was going to have my flower girls wear ivory. Though it was a challenge to find cute ivory FG dresses. I think their white against ivory may make my gown look a bit dirty.

My dress is silk-satin, I guess it falls into the diamond white category. I just picked up the flower girl dresses yesterday and they are considered light ivory. They go well with my dress, and I got them at Charlotte's Kids in massapequa. They had a pretty good selection of 'non white' flower girl dresses.

My FGs wanted to wear pink, so pink it is! I didn't want the 'little bride' look for them.

I want to try to match my flower girl to the bridesmaids, but if I can't do that then I will get an ivory dress. (my dress is champagne and ivory)

my dress was ivory, so I got my FG's dress to match both my dress and my BM's dresses..
(ivory with dove grey)

My dress is diamond white and my FGs dresses are ivory. The white was too white.

I haven't bought anything yet, but I'm planning on getting an ivory FG dress and getting fabric from the BMs dress (wine) added as an accent belt.

Great thread! I was thinking about this the other day. My dress is diamond white, but I don't know if I should have my FGs match my dress or what.. The problem is that my FGs will be wearing wings, which are white and I don't know how it'll look with an ivory FG dress.

Does anyone else have this dilemma?

I really wanted to stay away from white or ivory (my dress is a very light ivory) so we bought silver-grey dresses for the FG's. They have a thin black ribbon-band around the waist (my BM's are wearing black) with an antique pin in the middle. They're very sweet...there's a pic of them floating around here somewhere - I'm on my Mac, so I can't post anything.

and my husband wore a white shirt (custom) with an ivory vest.. it looked soo good.

I'm wearing ivory, and I'm definitely having my flowergirls wear ivory and not white. I'm a nut about things matching..

I want my FG to wear Ivory her mother wants her in pink. I am going to insist on Ivory with pink in it if I can find a cute dress.
