But I think if you have several options it may be ok not to list prices? I'm not sure cause then they'd have to call each to find out what was the best price

I am just sending the magnet plus the cards the hotels provide (without rates). I haven't seen many cards with rates so I decided to do it that way. Either way, I think it is completely up to you.

ETA: If you haven't already, definitely block rooms!!!

I would, as a courtesy, at least *try* to get them a group rate. I know the hotels near my hall will be sold out before I send out my invites, and the only people who will have rooms will be people who book under my name.

Personally, I'm listing the one hotel I blocked rooms at with the rate. If they don't like the hotel or think the rate is too much, they can research on their own. I did have a friend who did more of a STD brochure (she got married in Canada, so everyone was OOT) that listed 2 or 3 hotels that she had blocks with and rates and then 2 or 3 other options without rates.

I am just mentioning that I have blocked off rooms and the phone #... they can call about the rate...

i listed the location, the distance from the hall and the price along witht he phone number.
i want to give people as much information as possible!
