San Souci Brides
HiCan anyone give me an idea of what they thought of it?
I don't want to be nosy, b/c I will call tomorrow, but approx. how much pp is it??
I am thinking Sunday afternoon and it looks so pretty there - I passed by it tonight. I love the view and wanted to know about the food, service etc. and if the prices are really high or reasonable...
Thanks all!!

Re: San Souci Brides
I got married there in August and loved it. The food was great and the service was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about it. I found the pp to be very reasonable.

Re: San Souci Brides
When I was looking for a reception site, they quoted me 85 before tax and tip per person for a Friday night wedding in August.

Re: San Souci Brides
I am getting married there in November and me and FH were quoted a price of $80 pp for the middle menu for a Friday night. We are actually adding a bunch of stuff so it comes out to $110 pp after tax & tip are included. I have heard that the food is excellent, my sister went there for a communion and a wedding and she is by far one of the most picky people I know and she said the food was amazing.

Re: San Souci Brides
My friend was married at San Souci and it was probably some of the best food I ever had at a wedding.

Re: San Souci Brides
Hi darly--Did you find a place to rent? If you're willing to do Queens, try the Queens Farm Museum - http://www.queensfarm.org/, they're inexpensive, $600 for 4 hours, and I think that includes tables and chairs, 110 people. And for catering I got a good review of Dreamweaver Catering, www.dreamweaverscatering.com, starts at 12.95 per person for the food. And you know about my page.
Good luck!

i don't know where you live but there is a new place called hamlet willow creek golf and country club being built in mt. sinai. it was the first place we went to see. they had a dvd tour and plans you can look at. it was 65 pp for a fri night and 75pp for a sat night. i never asked for a sunday price. the women who I talked to there is barbra...I basically waited too long to decide and lost the day we had put on hold...they can mail you a dvd if you call them

I liked Sans Souci.. We didn't pick it but the lady who did the tour (she had short curly blonde hair) seemed friendly and easy to work with. It's a good place. Good Luck!

Re: San Souci Brides
Someone on here mentioned the chairs looked old - of course, I can make my own decision when I go there - but do they charge extra to cover the chairs - I see the chair covers in the pictures...Thanks D

They do not charge for the chair covers they are included. The wedding cake and the centerpieces are also included.

Cool! I hope I like this place! It looks so pretty & the prices are so fair for what they offer...What do they do if it rains (G-D forbid!)
