Do you send out bachelor/ette invitations?

This is probably a stupid question but I'm not sure. The 2 bridal parties I was in didn't do any of these parties.
If you do, does anyone have any wording?

I planned a bachelorett party & jsut eamiled our friends & the bride passed the info to her sisters & cousins.

Her brothrr in law, thoguh sent out invitations for the bachelor partyhe made on his computer-- I felt outdone, but she said 'you know boys--they need it in writing or they might forget to come'

Re: Do you send out bachelor/ette invitations?

I think since you are doing a joint thing and you are planning it you should definately send something out, whether it is an email or invitation.

Re: Do you send out bachelor/ette invitations?

I'm sending out invitations, but they're really serving as STDs. We're going to go away the weekend before Labor Day, but we're going to book it last minute to get the best deals. I'm going to send out the invites soon just to let people know the date and to tell them to start putting money aside.
