Re: The Saga Continues....

If the second house doesnt work out you did not lose both houses...you made an intelligent decision based on your needs with house #1 that it might be too small - you controlled that situation. I think that if you think the rooms are too small, they probably are. We looked at a house that had alot of things going for it but the same thing - the bedrooms were waytoo small. And as much as I like high ranches, it had 2 bedrooms on the upper floor, where I definitely wanted 3 on the upper floor. So we decided against it despite all the other things we liked. It's easy to second guess yourself but I think you listened to your gut feeling and you will be OK. Like Anna said, your house is out there, it just that it's such a rollercoaster ride when you are in the throes of the searching and bidding.

Re: The Saga Continues....

Karen,
Oh boy.... you will know one way or the other by the end of the day? Your nerves must be shot from just waiting and wondering.

I definetely think you made the right decision on giving up the house with the nice yard for the house with no yard and bigger rooms. In the winter you wont care about the yard, but will care about the room sizes all year round. Also, once the spring comes, just think of all the fun you will have planting, etc and making it nice. I am sure you will make it beautiful!

Let me know how the day ends.

Good luck with it all!
