re-post from BHB re: Postage - Help opinions, please

This is a re-post from BHB, I wanted to hear your opinions too. Thanks.

I'm mailing out my invitations next week and I think I need .60 cents for the outer envelope.

But, didn't like the old Love stamps (and their beginning to be hard to find too!) and so I bought for the Response cards the new Love stamp but doesn't come in .60 cents. And the other .60 cents stamps aren't so nice.

What do I do : Do I keep looking until I find the 60. cent Old Love stamp?

Could I put (2) new Love stamps on outter envelope so they match the Response Cards?

How does that look putting 2 stamps on the envelope? Tacky - yes/no? or

It just doen't matter?

Re: re-post from BHB re: Postage - Help opinions, please

I am sending out my invites with the old 'Love' stamps. I ordered them off of the USPS website, and I got them FAST.

To me, honestly, the stamp didn't matter much, but that is JMO. I would do whatever you feel best doing.

My invites are stamped & ready to go with two Candy Heart stamps (which actually in person I don't LOVE either but like 'em better than the Love stamp)

Yeah that's the reason why I bought the Candy Heart ones, because I don't like last years Love stamp.

So you put 2 Candy Heart stamps on your outter envelopes? By any chance, can you post or e-mail a picture of your outter envelopes?, just curious on how they look.

Thanks.

I'll probably just use the old love stamps. It really doesn't matter if they are ugly or not.

Honestly, i have NEVER noticed the stamps on a wedding invite so its not even an issue.

Hey, no problem!! This was hard for me to decide too but I really do not liek the regular Love stamps and knew I would not be using them. So either two of these or whatever other .60 stamp was available.

Re: re-post from BHB re: Postage - Help opinions, please

I am using the ugly LOVE stamps!

I just ordered them through USPS.com

They actually sell a wedding package. The matching .37 and .60 or you could buy them seperately. I got mine in about a week. But I am sure you could put a rush on the delivery.

Good Luck!
