I almost feel stupid posting this but.....
My shower was today!My sisters went above and beyond to make it beautiful, and to suprise me. I am so grateful to them for all the effort they put into my shower, it was great!
And everyone was in on it!
A few weeks ago I got an invitation to a 'suprise 40th b-day party' for my BIL for tonight. I was suspicious - they are not suprise party people.
Last month we had our menu tasting at Flowerfield. My sister/MOH couldn't make it. Our banquet manager Meaghan knew I was disappointed, so she emailed me a couple weeks ago, said there was another tasting today, if we would like to come back with my sister.
So we get to Flowerfield today, the Maitre'd leads us into the room, and SUPRISE!!
It was my shower! At Flowerfield! The tasting had been a set-up, the banquet manager was in on it, the suprise party was just to throw me off! I was so amazed!
The shower was fun, the food was good. I got lots of nice stuff, but best of all my sisters went all out to do this for me, and I love them to pieces for it! And a big thank you to the staff at Flowerfield too, esp., Meaghan and Scott!
