i want to wear my hair down in august and my mom keeps telling me its not going to stay! what do you guys think?

ALSO, can you guys post pics of your hair when it was down in curls? i want to get some headpiece ideas and hair....

I think it depends on your hair type. For examples my hair is naturally pin strait but in humid weather it curls underneith and in the front. I wouldn't do it unless really dry wether is expected. Are you having the ceremony outside or inside if it's inside mostly, I think you can pull it of. If you have heavy and thick hair and you are having it outside you will get super hot.

I got married in August and was afraid of the same thing you are. The girl who did my hair swore up and down it would stay, and it did! I had it done at 7:00 in the morning and it stayed until we went to bed around midnight. Here are some pictures.
PS...I also have very thick, wavy hair that usually frizes in the humidity.

I know my hair and oh my i will look like ELVIRA by the end of the night

plus think about how hot it will be.. i would be more comfortable with my hair up especially if it is in august

I love her hair too! I was also concerned about wearing it down in Aug. esp. with getting married outside during the heat of the day...

I definitely want to wear my hair down, but I have very straight hair, so It won't hold any curls, not sure what I'm going to do, maybe clip it up on one side...or just up in the front.
