Does anyone know which hotes are close to the Swan Club?

Some of my guests want to stay over, I'm not sure where to direct them.

I think the closest one is the Roslyn Claremount.

There are a few on Northern Blvd in Bayside.

I don't know if this qualifies as close -- but isn't there a Marriott (maybe it's a Hilton?) on Old Country Road somewhere near the Chateau Briand??

It would be just a matter of driving south on Glen Cove Road to Old Country and turning left.

Jut a thought!

Well, there are a few.

The closest is the Wingate Inn, my FMIL is putting her family up there.

Then there is also the Holiday Inn, that's the one right by the Chataue Briand (sp?)

There is also a New Red Rood Inn, but it's on the other side of Roosevelt Field Mall, so that might be too far.

The Wingate has the best prices about $120 per night and they have a continental breakfast included.

We had our reception at the Sans Souci, which is right down the road from the Swan Club. Our guests stayed at the Harrison House in Glen Cove. It was beautiful and reasonably priced for a LI hotel room!

I went to a wedding at Roslyn Claremont and spent the night. Loved it, I wish the room was bigger though

Has anyone blocked rooms at the Roslyn Claremont? How much is a room? The regular rate for July would bring the room to a little over $200 for one night. Is that too much? I mean, I'm willing to pay it for myself, but do you think guests will think I'm nuts?
