Suggestions on 2 night 3 day Vacation...
We are planning to go the first week in August but only for two nights
Hubby can't leave the business longer than that.Of course we are taking the baby, so where can we go???? without getting on a plane.
Come on Ladies give me some good ideas! I'm new at this.

Hi Camille! I told Joe that I am in DESPARATE need of a vacation, and since the big wuss won't get on a plane, we'll be doing the car thing also. How about Lake George? I've never been, but my friend goes there every year and raves about it, especially with the baby.
Or up North, like Rhode Island/Maine/Massachusetts? Mystic?
If you had more time, I would suggest Myrtle Beach or Ocean City, MD -- I've been to both places years ago and they've built them up so much more now and are family friendly.
If I can think of other places, I'll let you know.

I would suggest the Amish Country. it's beautiful there - very peaceful. And very family oriented! Or Cape Cod? That's always a great spot for a couple of days. Provincetown is a great place for shopping and so on.
