i just learned that there is a jail in east meadow with 9 sex offenders, and 1 living in a house...never knew that

Thank you! None in my neighborhood/town but 2 in my parents! WOW! and right down the block from the school (elementary) where I work! They should not be allowed to live close to a school like that if their victim was school age.

I thought the law stipulated they have to be X miles away from any schools?

I got two notices from my schoold district... however, they did not appear on the site.

Thanks though I just learned there is one in FH's area.

ETA: Just use the first three digits of your ZIP code, you will be surprised how many show up.

I just thought LIW gals would like to have this info, especially since there are a lot of us who are either TTC, parents or buying houses.

There is one in my area but i am not sure where the street is..He was born in 1980!!!! I never think of sex offenders that young! I always think they are 40 or something. WHich is sad for me since i have been to severeal sex offender workshops for my job!
