April 25 2004 Watermill Bride out there?

Is anyone getting married at the watermill in the vanderbuilt room on that Sunday Afternoon. I'm getting married that day in the astor room, just wanted to see if there was a fellow LIW bride getting married on the same day so we could compare notes!

I went for my final meeting last night at the Watermill and found out there was going to be another wedding...i was curious if she was a fellow LIW bride....

I'm starting to get excited, i went through the menu with them last night and picked the cake out, they asked me if i had anything 'special' i was bringing like champagne flutes or a guest book, I say no.

I'm losing my mind b/c I am bringing that stuff so now I have to call them back!

OMG...I have a MILLION extras...heres a question you may know the answer to...who does the centerpieces...are you having a florist? We are doing our own and Im confused as to who sets them up...I think I will call Samanatha to see if she knows...did you ever meet with her, is she helpful?

I'm in the Vanderbilt on May 8th. Not too long after both of you!

Samantha is great! If you call her she will set up a personal appt with you. Ours is April 1st. She will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know.

I haven't told them about any extras that will go with the cake. I haven't even picked out a cake.

Who is your banquet manager!!!

This is so fun and even better that we have people to share it with that know what we're going through!

Donna, did you make it to the cocktail party tuesday night?? We went late but it was nice!

I'm using Jack and Rose for my flowers. He was EXTREMELY reasonable. I have to go the Monday before the wedding and drop off anything I want to be at the tables the day of the wedding, I think you would do it at that point.

My initial BM was Pauline but I don't think she is there anymore. I met with Tommy last night. He was very nice, I liked him a lot. Samantha is very nice. I actually sat down with her when it came to the invitations. she was a lot of help.

I didnt make it ( I had surgery on my mouth, ended up getting an abcess the night before..FH wanted to go too!!!) But I hear they are having another bridal showcase in April so we will go then....we met with Bruce to sign the contract, is he our BM???????

When it comes time to you picking your menus out and stuff, you'll probably end up sitting with someone else. if you really like the person you sat with, let them know you want them to be there the day of the wedding. that is what i did yesterday b/c I felt comfortable with Tommy.
