Summer Brides - anyone wearing sandals?

I'm getting married this August and I'm looking for a place in NYC or online to buy a relaxed looking but comfy shoe that my feet won't be sweating in all day of the wedding - so I was thinking of a sandal. Does anyone know of an online store that sells them? Or any place in NYC?

I was a August bride. My shoes were 'Candy' by Dyeables which were a surprise gift from my Fi (now DH).

you could get white flip flops (j. crew makes really nice ones) and using hot glue, glue on sequins or crystals or something. just a suggestion.

I got awesome sandles at Luv my Shoes in Huntington. They do have a heal- maybe 2 or 3 inches. They had a big selection there.

I also got white flip flops from Candies with sequence on them- they are adorable. Here is a picture of them.

The flip flops are so cute!

Glamourgirl1974 - are they comfortable??? Sometimes that piece that goes in between my toes on flip flops hurt!

I was looking at shoes last night on bridesave.com, they have some nice sandles.. I am a sneakers and loafers type of girl, so even tho I am a spring wedding I think I am getting sandles too

They are very comfortable. You need to 'break' them in a few days first.
I actually have a pair that I wore in the summer last year.
I luved them so much I bought another pair for the wedding.
They are only $19.99 on the candies website.

Thanks - I didn't know Candies had a website but I guess everyone does these days. And who would think that I'd be looking for wedding shoes there

CAREY - your shoes are beautiful! I would love to wear those but I think after a few cocktails I might trip in those.....better stick to flats as I plan to have many drinks on the big day

Where did you get those? Just in case I change my mind!

Get both- where the sandals for the ceremony...etc
And then switch into the flipflops or slippers or whatever once
you begin to drink and party. And you could always use a new pair of
flipflops in the summer. And you could wear these with everything!
