photography album pic ques..

ok so we got our proofs and they came out so nice.. And the photographer put together an "album for us" he picked out pictures that could go in the album.. hes all about telling a story and he picked put some great shots. Now of course I love the pics and how its set up... Problem??

It doesnt fit into what we paid for. We paid for a 30 page album- up to 50 pic... If I go for what the photographer set up its going to cost me an extra $1300!!!!!

why do they do this? i love the idea of what he did but i dont what to spend any more $$ on pics.. were saving for a house and i know my husband will not go for this.. what would you do.

I feel like my album is going to be so bare if i cut it down... but i really dont want to invest any more $$- i spent $5000 already!!!

Is there something else in your package you could trade for? If your package comes with 2 8x10's, maybe trade those for a more album photos? Or maybe do a few collage pages instead of single pictures to a page.

You can always see if he'll work with your budget as well.

I would explain to your photographer what your expectations were...see if he'll work with you. If not, then create your album the way you would like to without the extras...or, you can splurge and do the album the way your photographer set it up as an example.
