Try the AVEDA spa on the upper east side.

I hear SoHo Sanctuary is good- not sure about price though.

Oasis Day Spa/Oasis on Park. I've been to both and loved them both. They do run sales, prices not too bad. Here's the link. http://www.nydayspa.com/

Bliss has two locations in NYC. Some of their treatments are up there, but otherwise not that bad as far as spas go.
