How's everyone doing with the TCC stuff?

Not much new here. I bought the Clear Blue Easy Fertility monitor and started using it this month. Hopefully it will help.

People keep asking me when are we going to get pregnant which is pretty annoying . Sometimes I feel like saying 'We're trying!. Would you like me to notify you everytime me and DH have sex?' I feel like making putting a message on our answering machine that says 'Not pregnant yet. Thanks for calling!'

How's everyone else doing?

My friend used it and she told me that it works very well.

Re: How's everyone doing with the TCC stuff?

I also am using the Clearblue Fertility monitor for the first time too. I borrowed it from my cousin. She got preggo after 3 months of using it.

I agree that is it very annoying when people ask 'when are you having a baby' or the best is 'oh, you look so cute holding a baby, mabye it will rub off on you'. That last one kills me....

I didn't purchase it (I borrowed it) but the monitor is like $150 plus the test strips are like $40. I found a website www.fertilityshop.com and they had a good deal for it.

I can really relate to you. It's bad enough that I have to hear junk from my folks and my in-laws. My co-workers are getting to be very annoying. I don't plan on telling them till I am 3 months anyway. But, it can sure be so frustrating at times!!!

Re: How's everyone doing with the TCC stuff?

I was just reading the booklet this morning and it says if you leave the test strip too long in the urine stream, it may not give you an accurate reading I think that happened the other day. When I was putting the strip in the monitor, the window looked very wet (hard to explain...) and I just had a feeling something was wrong.

When there is a problem with one day of testing, it can throw off the entire monitoring month I think this happened to me because it still doesn't say that I ovulated yet and I should have by now.
