beleive it or not - NO 'hard rock' 80's (bon jovi, ac/dc, beastie boys, def leppard, billy idol, van halen etc) also no chicken dance, conga and those types.

No line dances(electric slide, chicken dance, macarena etc.) and oddly enough no Carpenters. My MOH literally breaks out in hives when she hears the Carpenters.

I haven't put together the entire list yet but I know that Electric Slide will NOT be played.

My FH wants the Chicken Dance played just so he can yell Rangers Suck. This does not sit will with my brother and me though as we are both Ranger fans, but it will still be funny.

Every band showcase I have been to, they play...Outkast - Hey Ya and Beyonce's - Crazy in Love.....I do not think that these are songs that should be played by bands...they will be on my do not playlist!

I just saw on another link Meatloaf and it reminded me of a wedding I went to last summer. THis drunk guy was actually standing up with the band going crazy to 'I gotta know right now' (don't know the actual name of song) and acting out the the whole baseball seen and took a dive and slid right across the dance floor as if he were sliding into base and taking people down along the way! Hence, no meatloaf at my wedding

No group participitation dances, no Enrique Eglesias, no Ricky Martin, no Mariah Carey, limited Celine Dion. I think that's all for now, but I'm sure FH and I will think of plenty more we DON'T want to hear.

really?that's hysterical.
I have a afirend that gets nausiated when she here's Rush.
SHe says it has something to do with a HS friend that was a crazy driver & used to paly Rush songs all the time really loud & the combination made her ill.

I pretty much have a no Meatloaf rule all the time. I turn of the radio if he's on.

It's funny - everyone's personal 'do not play list'...someone listed no motown...I want motown....but I don't want the chicken or the congo, and undecided about the electric slide...No to I will Survive, and no bubble gum music...I want more jazz music and a variety of it all but no rock soft or hard....

I had no rap, or chicken dance or any of those line dances except the elctric slide and the conga line and I must say they were two of the best dances because everyone was up on that dance floor for those songs.
