Has anyone used them and created a magazine style album?
Any Feedback is welcome.

Re: Silverfox magazine style album?

I just booked with silverfox earlier in the day. I am not getting the magazine style album though. It is too modern for my style and FH agrees. If you like that style then I feel that you would be happy with the magazine album. I like a more traditional style album. Their work is wonderful. I have heard great things.

Re: Silverfox magazine style album?

To me, the magazine album looks too much like a yearbook. The pages are thin, and the photos are part of the page, not put on the page. Not my taste, and they're $$$.

Re: Silverfox magazine style album?

I really like the way the magazine style album looks but FH agrees that they look just like a yearbook so we went the traditional way.

Re: Silverfox magazine style album?

We booked with Silverfox. So far, we just booked the two photographers and the videographer. We haven't decided on any ablums, and John said that we don't have to decide until after we see the proofs.
I am leaning towards the magazine album.

Re: Silverfox magazine style album?

I like the idea of just booking the photographers now and choosing an album later. I really like the magazine style but my proofs might change my mind. I like that it is different and individualized. No two books are the same. I have experience in designing yearbooks, Silverfox was the only studio that said I could have alot of input in creating my book. Unlike other studios that would only give me little or no input.

Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Silverfox magazine style album?

We booked with Twelfth Night, and they gave us the same option. We just paid for two photographers (medium format, black and white and both do digital), proofs and negatives. That's actually where we were shown the magazine style album. We're going to decide on the album later.
