Strapless gown question...(Bride or MOB)
Did anyone's mother buy a strapless gown and then have a jacket or shrug made? I'm nervous about what to do with mine. I can't leave the dress and the shawl as it is for dancing.Any pictures would really be appreciated.
I truly need help.
Thank you.

I've seen at some of the bridal fashion shows where they drape the shawl over the shoulders and then tie it around the back, somewhere around waist level. It stays on, and looks somewhat like a shrug. Maybe you can try that.

My mom bought a strapless dress which came with a shawl which she is having made into a bolero type jacket. The seamstress told her it would be no problem. You can FM her if you have questions she's MomNeedsTissues on here.

My mom had her dress made - the dress was strapless, and the dressmaker also made a matching jacket - if you do a search, you'll find a link to my pictures (posted within the last week).

My mother is wearing a strapless dress for my sister's wedding, and it came with a shawl. She was a little uncomfortable with the idea of strapless at first, so they (Sugarplum) are sewing (hidden) loops into her dress that she can tie her shawl into so that it will stay in place.I hope that made sense & helps
