it is so hard planning from a far.. I have a question for you duet brides HELP!!!!!
do u think they have a lot of photojournalistic pics??
Was there demo video good???
AHHH.. should I go with them.. hee hee. it's so hard not being able to go there and look.. I saw there web site, and it seems nice.. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

The demo was really good. Actually it made me cry! The albums that we saw there were all really nice. They actually give you 2 photographers... one does photojournalistic and one does the traditional poses.

there web site doesnt even do them justice (i am not even a duet bride, hehe) i dont think you will be disappointed with them at all
it made me cry too!!

I really like their albums. I thought the fact that Nicole and Eric used their album as a sample was a nice touch. Their pics were really nice.

I am also planning from a distance and made a point to have a lot of appointments set up when I went to visit LI. I had one w/ duet - well they were 15 mins late. I was mad cause I had a lot of other stuff 2 do. Decided not to use them for that reason - plus was not overly impressed by their work.

Unfortunately htis is NY and latness does happen. But the best thing is to try and set an appointment when ever you can and judge them on their work.

You can tell the the % of photo/candid and b&W/Color you want. Check out the official duet photography thread, all the past duet brides that posted pics are all there in one place.

I loved their albums and thought the video was pretty good - honestly I loved silverfox's so it made it hard but since the video was still nice and we prefered to go with one company for photo and video. I recommended them to my cousin who is getting married and she booked them as well!! the video made her cry!
