Last Night!

Who went to the gathering last night? How was it? I got stuck late working and did not get home until 10:30. I was going to drop by but I figured that you guys would have been gone by then. I am only 10 mins away too!! well maybe the next one I will be able to make.

I will be using Lisa S since there are lots of Lisa's on this board!! :)

I thought it was next Thursday too 8/17????? I'm confused.......

My finace & I have been living together for over two years. What we found is the best for us is to keep a joint account for all "apartment" expenses. That includes rent, utilities and monthly expenses like food and going out, and we also add extra for savings.

We each keep our own spendings seperate. I pay my own bills from my own account and he pays his. This solves the problem. We have our private finances and our joint finances.

Get together is next week, right??

You're right, it is next Thursday. In the series of passes when the topic was first brought up, someone mentioned the 10th, but no one said anything about it after that. (At least not here.) So we'll try next week. Hope to see you there!

I am getting my pictures, video (we werent going to get it because I wasnt sure if it would fit in our budget), and the flowers all at one place for a great deal!! Also, the tuxes are capped at a certian price and the grooms tux is free (we will be renting 8 of them) The picture package alone was incredible. We are using Wedding World in Hauppauge. We dealt with Anna and she is such a doll! Not pushy at all!! My FI and I went only to see what they would say and we were very inpressed with the setup!

I am planning on going! I haven't posted a message before, but I've been reading the messages for months and am looking forward to meeting other brides in person. Was there someone we are supposed to e-mail, about a head count?
