Moderately priced photographer suggestions

Hi!

I am currently on the search for moderately priced photographers. I really want to try to find a photographer to work with directly (instead of through a studio) that costs about $2500 for a full day of shooting where we get to keep the negatives. We have met with Dan Loh (he was great but a little out of our price range) and Laura Mazy and really liked both. We want to meet just a few more people before we make a final decision. Any suggestions? Our wedding is out in West Hampton so photographers in Long Island are welcome, but I think NJ photographers might charge a lot in travel fees.

Any suggestions? Your help is greatly appreciated!

I don't know anyone. I've spoken with soem profesisonal photogrpahers who do weddings on the side. I'd just be careful and make sure you've seen their work. I think having an independent person might leave it open for more creative shots and stuff, but I'd be careful too.

I got a good quote from Marco Photography....the sooner the date is the better price you will usually be given. They are listed here under vendors, I believe...
