Okay girls, what is the best vacation that you have ever been on and why?

I have to choose 2... Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica because it just felt like paradise with the royal treatment and SO MANY drinks...

AND...Royal Caribbean Adventure of Seas cruise ship because the ship was freakin' huge and it was so much fun...PLUS...I got engaged on that ship!

I love the Caribbean!!!

I have 2. I think the very best was when I went to Europe after graduating from college. I spent 3 weeks on a tour but I went by myself. I met a lot of people, saw a lot of awesome places and best of all, I did it on my own. I loved every minute of it.
I've also taken some great trips with FH. I think we had the best time on our cruise. We did the perfect mix of relaxing and partying!

Several years ago, I took a month-long trip to Australia & New Zealand- it was the trip of a lifetime!!!!!

Saw the most beautiful sites, met amazing people, went hot-air ballooning in the Outback, got to feed & pet kangaroos/koalas

Culturally, Australia was awesome. Geographically, New Zealand is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. If you have seen 'Lord of the Rings' (where it was filmed), picture that but even more beautiful in person!!!

About 5 years ago, I took the best vacation of my life. I quit my job and did a 1 year backpacking trip around the world. I visited England, Scotland, Ireland, Switzerland, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and then travelled around the states a bit. It amazes me how normal this is in Europe... when I told people here what I was doing, they all looked at me like I was crazy. I don't regret 1 minute of my trip... this was a trip of a lifetime and I got to do it!!

raz1031..... looks like we have the same taste!

Loved Sandlas 'MoBay'- went there three years ago and we just went on the Adventure of the Seas in February and had an absolute BLAST!

It was amazing!

Personally, I have stayed at three different Sandals resorts and they were all amazing!

LOL! That's hysterical! I went to Montego Bay a LONG time ago...1998. RC Adventure was this past September. WHAT A BLAST!!! I want to go again!!!!

My friends and I used to be flight attendants so we would hop flights whenever we had time off. The best was flying to Antigua sleeping in a tent on the beach for a week and getting a job working on a sailboat while there.

I have 2 - one with Fh and one without.

With him- SF and Napa Valley. In SF, we rented bikes and rode over the Golden Gate bridge to Sarasota. So beautiful. We stayed inthe most amazing spa resort in Napa and went wine tasting. Just relaxing!!!

Without him- 1 did a month in France Italy and Greece. I went to all teh big Northern cities in Italy (Rome, Florence, Venice) adn I fell in love with Florence! Then I went to Paris to meet my aunt (She lives there) and my girlfriend. My friend and i went down to nice and then the Amalfi Coast for 5 days. We stayed in Positano- I tell you girls it is heaven!!! Then I went to Greece and met another friend in Mykonos. there i partied all night and beached all day! Paradise!!!

Mine sounds boring compared to some of yours but me and FI went to Panama City Beach, FL 2 years ago. It was a place neither of us have been and we drove down there. It was a great experience! I went scuba diving for the first time too.

Disney World last year. We had such a great time, and I got to propose there. Almost no rain, lines were ok. It was great overall.

Disney World last May. I went with FH. We originally booked Port Orleans. However, it was closed for renovations so FH surprised me with the Animal Kingdom Lodge! It was so amazing. We could sit on our balcony and watch the giraffs (4 in our savanah) and other animals. I absolutely LOVE that hotel and never want to stay anywhere else there. Because it was May, there were really no lines so we went on all the rides we wanted and could eat wherever we wanted. The weather was beautiful.

But mostly if was FH's company that I enjoyed the most. This was our first vacation with just the 2 of us, and it was truly magical. It will always be a special place for us.

For as long as I can remeb r I wanted to go to Disney World. My parents promised me 'next year' every year, but they could never afford it. On Christmas 2002 I opened up an envelope with a reservation from my FH! He took my on my first trip to DisneyWorld I gasped and cried when i saw the castle. As soon as I walked into MK I got to meet Dopey and twirled my pigtails. I met Mickey! SOOO much magic. He took me again a year later! And we're going again in 6 weeks!
