Veil Question - Opinions Needed
I ordered my veil tonight, it is fingertip , two layers, ivory to match my dress and very flat on top, no poof at all. I like it plain, my Mom was with me and she thought I should get edging on the veil that it was too plain w/out it, but I just cant picture a veil with edging w/my dress. Attached is a pic of my dress, I am taking off the flower in the middle of the dress. The dress has alot of detail and I think a veil with edging will be too much. My tiara is gold, kind of like the one the girl is wearing in the pic but mine is a little thinner. So, opinions needed edging or nor edging on the veil? Sorry so long, all opinions appreciated.

I am biased because I dont really like the raw edge look! I have a strapless dress, and a fingertip length veil with a rolled or pencil edge!

JMO - I don't like the raw edge veils. But I didn't want an edge to take away from the dress. I went with the fine embroidered edge. It is perfect!

The rolled edge is nice, just gives it a finished look

Honestly, I think it would look beautiful either way. You're the bride and you're wearing it; pick whatever you love most!

I prefer the raw edge look, I like for the veil to be very soft and delicate looking, like an accesory to the dress, not something that stands out on it's own.

I agree. My veil is a simple drop veil held in with a pin and no edging.

I like the raw edge but really it is up to you and how you want your veil. The dress is gorgeous and will look beautiful either way.

I have the same edge as JULZ33.It kinda goes w/ my dress though- I have an aroganza overlay, so the hem onthat looks similar to the edge on the veil.
I liek teh fine embroidrered or rolled edge. It makes it lok more finshsed, without realy being another detail element. Sort of like a hem on a dress.

I agree! Your dress is so beautiful - I think the main attention should be focused on it.

Re: Veil Question - Opinions Needed
I prefer a finished look on a veil but my gown is like yours (same designer too) in that it has alot going on so I went with the ever so subtle pencil edge. I would recommend either that or no edge for this gown. So if you prefer the raw edge, go for it!! I think either of the two would look great with this gown.Welcome New Vendors
