Re: Need a yummy pasta salad recipe
I usually just kind of use whatever I have in the house for pasta salad. I like using rotini or bow-tie pasta and then I make the good seasons italian dressing from the mix. I add in some oregano, garlic powder and pepper. As far as veggies, I always use olives and red or green peppers cut small. Depending on what else I have in the house I'll add broccoli or cauliflower, sundried tomato, cherry tomato, roasted red peppers etc.

Re: Need a yummy pasta salad recipe
Here is one of my favorite pasta salads. It has a sundried tomatoe dressing. It is pretty easy to make and can be made a head of time. It is great for a summer bbq.Pasta Salad with Fresh Mozz & Sundried tomatoes

For just regular pasta salad side dish - like at a bbq - I like tri color spiral pasta, chopped tiny colored bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, sliced olives, and dressed with italian dressing - quick and easy and you can add other likes like cubed cheese or pepperoni or broccoli florets.here is a dinner one I love...
Chicken And Pasta Salad With Feta Cheese
½ pound Penne pasta
¼ cup Olive oil
2 Tablespoons White wine vinegar
½ teaspoon Garlic minced
2 Tablespoons Basil, chopped
2 medium Tomatoes, diced
½ cup Feta cheese, crumbled
½ cup Black olives, pitted
8 cups Spinach, rinsed and stemmed
1 ½ pounds Chicken (boneless) breast, grilled and diced
Cook and drain the pasta, Set aside. Whisk together the oil, vinegar, garlic and basil. Toss with the pasta. Add the tomatoes, feta and olives. Chill for 1 hour. Arrange the spinach on 4 plates. Top with the pasta salad. Add the chicken. Garnish with more feta and sliced red onions (optional).
