Ceremony music question?

We are expecting our ceremony to be 1/2 hour and the cocktail party is 1 hr long. If we hired musicians for 1 and 1/2 hours, do you think that would be long enough? I don't want them to get up and walk out 10 min before the cocktail hour if the transition runs long between the two parts. I also can't really afford two full hours. Thoughts?

You might be cutting it close. What kind of musicians were you looking to get? You might have different price options based on who you use.
