cheap dancing - bachelorette party help
The original plan for the bachelorette party (next week!!!) was to go to the culture club after our show and eating, but it's $20 to get in for my girls and the drinks are so expensive. Can anyone recommend places that are fun to be at and dance at and are just a little bit more cheaper (at least the cover charge)?

Re: cheap dancing - bachelorette party help
Usually if you call and let them know its a bachelorette party, they will give you reduced or free admission. We went to South Beach but called all the clubs in advance and got in for free and the admission there was $40 each!
Thank goodness we called. Mirage is alot of fun and will give you free admission. Its in Westbury. Have fun!

I actually had called Culture Club, but they only reduce their cover by $5. Thanks for the Mirage recommendation, but we will already be in the city. Can anyone else help me?

Re: cheap dancing - bachelorette party help
We called the culture club for my friends bachelorette party and got in for free, because it was a bachelorette party. But that was 2 1/2 years ago, so I guess they changed it. I would do a search for other clubs, and call them all. There is bound to be some place that will let all you girls in for free! Definately check out Cafe Wha! I am not a city dweller, so I don't know what to good clubs are.

Re: cheap dancing - bachelorette party help
Are you looking for a nightclub or a bar? There's a bar called Bourbon Street that has a DJ on saturday nights. No cover, and the drinks were pretty reasonable. If your looking to go to a club, Im not sure if this is going to be alot of $$$, but I'll suggest it anyway. If you go to websterhall.com and use the pre-pay admission for the VIP pass its $60. That includes OPEN BAR all night, no waiting on line, coat check and access to all vip rooms. It sounds like a lot, but considering that drinks run between $8-$15 and admission is $20-$30, it pays in the long run.

We're looking to dance. Don't need anything fancy, just a good time. I have been to Bourbon street. It's a good bar. I like Jackrabbit slims, but my group of 18, will not be able to move in that place once it gets going.
