Other dances besides bride with dad, or mom with groom?

I'm really close with my brothers and I wanted to dance with them to 1 song, just split it up between the 2 of them. My FI say people are going to get bored with all the dances, but I say screw that it's my wedding and my brothers! Am I wrong?

Your not wrong. I danced with my brother and a lot of my family actually cried when they saw us dancing. That was an extremely precious moment for me. Definiteley do it. Talk to your DJ they will work the dance in so that it is not right before or after the father/daughter or mom/son dances. They can space it out and have it at a different time so people won't be bored of special dances.

MY FH is dancing with our 3 year old daughter.
Hey its our day and this means alot to us brides so why not do it

What song? I was thinking about doing I had to say I love you in a song by Jim Croce. My brother and I love music like that.

jmo- i think it is too much. why don't you just play a special song for you and them and ask them to dance instead of making it formalized where everyone stands around in a circle and watches you.

i went to a wedding once where there were 3 speeches and 3 dances and was extremely bored. not to be rude- i love the couple to death- but it was long and drawn out.

if you want to do a formalized dance what about doing it during one of the courses instead.
