I know we got on the subject of candy themed weddings and I remembered to bring in the article. She and her FI made 75 red chocolate boxes to place the vellum wrapped invititations.
She also used candy apples to mark the ceremony area. Seat assignments were on lollipops in a field of gumdrops. She made her table numbers out of a mosaic of candy nerds. Her disposable cameras had candy hearts on them and the vases for the flowers were rock candy filled. The sweetheart table was decorated with lifesavers and red licorice. The bar was decorated with starlight mint candles (?) and specialty drinks included the godiva chocolate martini, the jolly rancher, and the cherry blow pop. As favors she gave out wineglass charms in the shape of candy, the cocktail menu made entirely of chocolate, chocolate truffle scented candles and cds designed to look like starlight mints with the couples favorite songs on it. She also had a chocolate wedding cake decorated with truffles. Hope this inspires!!!
