Craziest Thing That Ever Happened To You at A Wedding...

Okay lets play....we all have probably been to a ton of weddings, name a funny, weird or bad thing that happened to you at one wedding...I'll start...

I went to a wedding where the chair I sat down on was soaking wet and I spent 20 minutes in the bathroom drying my rear end....I don't know why it was wet (it was inside at a table) but when we told the waitstaff, they seemed to know why and quickly replaced it....

I was someones date at a wedding once...He was away at school and when he came home for a function he would bring me as his guest...

He got so drunk, rude, disorderly, etc. that I just up and left the wedding without saying good-bye...

(And this was only right after the bridal party was announced in.)

He called me like 6 hours later when he finally realized I had left and he was screaming and cursing at me...

Needless to say I never spoke to him again.

A huge fight broke out at my cousin's wedding. They were wearing white tuxedos and there was blood everywhere. The bands instruments were knocked into. 2 tables went upside down. My cousin's wife gets so upset if you even mention it.

The craziest thing that ever happened to me at a wedding was I got married!

My co-worker told me a story once that at his wedding the reception went fine but it just ran over by one hour. Well no one knew anything was wrong until the guests started to leave and they found that the valet parkers didnt want to stay the extra hour and none of the guests could find their cars.

I caught the bouquet at FSIL's wedding and the guy who caught the garter was like 19 (I'm 28) and all his other 19 year-old friends were yelling 'she's a hottie.....higher, higher!' And the DJ was just egging them on, I was completely mortified!!!

i was unaware that it was a dessert only wedding reception and each couple was supposed to bring a dessert. i of course did not. silly me.....

My date wore a suit that was too tight so while he was dancing he split his pants! He had to change into jeans for the rest of the reception. Everyone was laughing (me included) and he got so mad he was yelling and cursing. He yelled at me so I left the wedding. Not sure whatever happened to him, I never spoke to him again.

Well I haven't been to that many weddings but I can tell you at my wedding - at the end of the evening, my 6 year old son and my new husband and his very large brother were all on one end of the dance floor on there backs wrestleing!!!!!!!
The Maitrde was horrified at the sight of it, but then he got into it and started refereeing!!!

Wow, I've been to a bad one. The catering was 2 hours late so everyone got easily drunk since we were so hungry. The priest was 3 hours late so they had the reception and then the wedding. And to top it off, when the bride went to the bathroom her dress ripped!!!

Well I obviously wasn't at this wedding but it's still a funny story. At my mom and dads wedding her uncle, who is a lush, passed out in the middle of the dance floor. Everyone thought he had dropped dead but it turns out that the jerk passed out from drinking. Need less to say he wasn't invited to anymore big events and my mom and grandma (his sister) never forgave him. Its funny to us but my mom still doesnt find it to funny.

My cousin decided to smash cake all over his new wifes face, and she threw some whipped cream back at him, and then he tried to help her clean it off her face and she wouldnt let go of the towel. They were both tugging on it and giving each other really evil looks. This was caught on video - its really horrible!!!

The other day I went to a wedding at Dante's and my FH's friend was really drunk and harassing the waiter. He was a young kid and he got so nervous as he was ladeling my soup that he spilled it all over my back! I got up quickly and it went all over my pants too! Fun times!!!

I wish I had a really good one but the best I can think of was at a shotgun wedding I went to (a long time ago, went with an ex). The ceremony and reception were in the same room. We sat and stood at our places at the tables while the couple got married on the dance floor. Well the salads were already at each place setting and the people at our table were eating the salad during the ceremony! I got very drunk at that wedding.

It didn't happen to me, but I was a witness. My cousing drank a little too much at his wedding. He and his new wife were on the dance floor and he lost his balance, he grabbed onto her and the two of them wound up on the floor. I know it's mean to say, but it was one of the funniest things I've even seen! lol!

that's weird. you'd think something like that would have been explicitly stated.

I was at a wedding when one of my friends got arrested afterward.

I went to a co-workers wedding with an ex-boyfreind from hell....little did he know, he thought we would spend the day together, but I had placed my suitcase in my car and insisted I drive us to the wedding. Well during the reception I waited until he was good and drunk and left....straight to the airport!

I went on vacation for a week....do you know the jerk was not even mad at me when I came back, it took me another 3-4 months to dump his a**!

At DH's friends wedding- right smack in the middle of the ceremony- the priest got mad at the photographers. So HE STARTED TO SCREAM AT THEM! It was unbelievable!
I mean, isn't wasn't anything like- 'sir, excuse me can you wait until after'
No- it was 'YOU COMPLETE MORONS! GET OFF THE ALTER! ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE MORONS! THEY HOLD NOTHING SACRED! MORONS!' It was so loud it echoed through the church.
So the photographer stopped snapping pictures and the priest went on.
Then when he heard the camera click- HE DID IT AGAIN!
Everyone was astonished! DH and I looked at each other and could not believe it.

Needless to say DH's friend got his 'offering' to the church back. But their ceremony was awkward from then on. What the worst is, is that they have it on their video!
