Hi Alicia! I just got married in April and I had an 18month old flower girl. She is my god daughter and her 3 year old sister was my other flower girl. They were a hit. My aunt had taken them to the church every week for a month prior to the wedding and the wedding day they walked right down the aisle holding their flowers. They even waklked into the reception holding the ring bearers hand! They were a show stopper! I wish I could show you a picture!
thanks alicia

My flower girl will turn 3 in September. She is sooo cute she is going to steal the show. She's going to walk down with her brother who is about 4 or five. I have yet to get outfits for them.
Looking at the picture on the top left side starting from the left: (Excuse me if I misspell your name)
Top row: Madelyn (I think), Laurie, AnneMarie, Valerie R., Debbie, JennZ

Thanks for your input girls. It is so good to hear that even the littlest ones were able to perform their roles well :) (ie look cute and walk down the isle). I was thinking about having my goddaughter be a flower girl but she'll be almost 2 years old by then and i was a little concerned....but i think we'll go for it!
Hi all...I have just posted my profile.

I'm not sure if I'm going to make my FG toss flowers or just carry a pomadore. I thought those were cute. This way the ring bearer could kind of lead (or drag???) her down the isle. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Can I ask, how long until your wedding. Mine is in less than 3 mos and I have yet to get my fg's dress. Do you think I will have a hard time finding one in time?
Lisarose-
I'm going but I can't remember what time I told them! I think I said 3:00. I'm looking forward to it since it will be my first look at flowers.

My wedding is 12/2/00. I'm not sure how long it will take to get a FG's dress. I know there are a lot at David's, there's also a place I've seen in the city that was cheaper than David's. The girls mother said maybe in October we should go. That way there is less of a chance of her growing out of the dress. Hope this helps!
I also got my bridal party all different kinds of swatch watches. I am thinking of getting something else small for the girls. Anyone have suggestions?
