Who ordered their gown on-line??

I'll be ordering my dress on-line today. I'm really nervous about it not coming in on time.
I'm looking at a couple different websites that all have about the same delivery time and price.

I need advice!!! What site did you order through? Were you satisfied???

What site are you ordering through? I fully plan on ordering online, I just haven't gone dress shopping yet. I'm in a BP in October and we ordered our BM dresses through netbride.

ETS: Just read that you found the dress at a number of sites. I've heard no bad things about netbride but I also haven't really heard bad things about any of them. Which are the sites that you're looking at?

I've looked at gownsales and netbride.
RKBridal doesn't carry my dress.

They both estimate 12 weeks but I always hear people say their dress came in early. I don't want to shell out another $50 for rush delivery if it'll be here in time anyway. (BTW my dress is a BM dress I'm getting in ivory....I know BM dresses are usually quicker.)

Only because I've heard more things about it, I'd go netbride. I've heard they're always early, the service is excellent, etc. Good idea about the bridesmaid dress!

I bought my Maggie gown from Netbride..it should be here any day now! I am fully confident in their service, I've heard very good things about them.

Only reason my gown isn't here already is that I ordered it on the late side for a Maggie dress (i ordered late February for my July wedding) Bu Netbride was great and honest with me.. they assured me I still would get it in plenty of time without having to pay extra fee to "rush" it .

I've also heard raves about PearlsPlace , in case you haven't looked into them already

I ordered my Maggie from Bridesave at the end of January and it came in 3 weeks ago (1 month earlier than promised). I found the whole process to be easy and customer service was helpful and friendly. I just ordered my slip from them too this week.

I actually have never seen the dress in person so I'm going to a bridal shop today to try it on. I KNOW I'll love it...but this way I'll know what size to order. I'll just have to fib to the shop so they don't know what I'm really up to.

And don't worry, I also went to the bridal shop to try my dress on , and had to stand there and lie and say I hated it (LOL) Meanwhile I was planning on ordering in online the entire time (its was just too big of a savings!)

Same here! My dress was early and $300 less than at Bridal Reflections. The customer service was also excellent.

I ordered my dress from Pearl's Place last year. I am not lying when I tell you this....

they said 4 months...I received it in 12 DAYS!!! Yes, that's right, 12 days! I couldn't believe it.

Anyway, my experience was fantastic. The dress is gorgeous and came to me in a large box - no wrinkles either!! Good luck!!!

Yes, 12 DAYS!! But they did originally tell me up to 4 months...I guess the manufacturer had it in stock because they got it in 7 and then shipped it to me UPS. I'm not sure if all the dresses would be that quick, I'm sure I got lucky.

Pearl's Place did give me the cheapest price. It was $400 off the store's price!!

Wow!! those are my bm dresses in lilac. I ordered from Pearl's place since they are an actual shop. You can call and order over the phone. I ordered late feb. they should be here by end of the month.

Wow! That's wonderful!
I just called and they quoted me $10 less than netbride. I know it's not that much but every penny counts these days!

I ordered two dresses from vendors on ebay and they both worked out great. One was a casablanca dress and it took 3 months. the other one was from a factory in China...can't remeber the name offhand but that one came ina month ans was super cheap. here's a pic. I liked ordering from ebay because I could read actual reviews from previous customers.

I ordered my gown from bridesave; it is expected to arrive in July, but so far I can say that their customer service has been great.

I got my dress from Netbride and it was a fantastic experience. I was a little unsure if it was the "same" dress as on the designer's site because the picture was unclear.
They went out of their way to verify the style # (after I managed to get the saleslady to divulge that information!) and make sure it was the right dress.

They promised 12-16 weeks. I got it in like 8. It came in a big old box and was not too badly wrinkled. I saved about 400.00 bucks from the salon.

I know what you mean about trying on at the store. I actually went twice to try on my dress. I felt really awkward about it.. but for 400.00 I managed a poker face.
