I got a new engagement ring setting!

I loved my engagement ring. The diamonds are absolutely beautiful. But, FH didn't pay for the setting. He got loose stones and the guy just put it in a setting for him. It was a very low setting that didn't do the diamonds justice, and although I loved it, it wasn't perfect. So I went yesterday with my mother, who actually found this setting, and she paid for half of it! I've never stopped oogling my ring since I got engaged last March, but now I'm just plain old gawking!

I feel like I just got engaged again.

The old setting looks like this one.

Old Setting

This is like my new setting, but it doesn't have the spaces under the side stones between the stones and the band like that. And my setting is a little more delicate looking and nicer.

Oooh yay! I know what you mean, yesterday we went to design my wedding ring and I felt excited all over again! Esp. after they cleaned my engagement ring for me and it was all sparkly again.
